About Camera Rated

The Idea

When we started Camera Rated we had one simple idea. Create a resource for anyone who wants to take better photographs no matter whether that is with your phone, a shoot and point camera, a high end Digital SLR camera or even a drone!

The Beginning

It all began in 2017 ... It started out as a way to share our knowledge and experience with anyone that was interested. It has now grown into a site that undertakes in-depth reviews of latest offerings focused on cameras of all types, lenses and the gear you need to take great photographs.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help everyone from beginners to the more experienced by arming you with the knowledge and information you need to make the right choices when you select your camera, lenses and accessories. Our ambition is to be your trusted go to resource for all your digital photography needs.

Important Please Read

Our mission is to help you select the right photography gear and we do not care where you decide to finally make that purchase either from our site or from another. We do not have any affiliation with any brand of camera or lens but rather scour the internet for the best and most trusted places to purchase that gear from.

We have found that the Amazon store is one of the best places to purchase photography gear because of price, ease of shipping and most importantly you know that your purchase is secure. However, if you do purchase using the links from our site we do receive a small commission which doesn't affect the price you pay in anyway. This then allows us to invest in even deeper more comprehensive reviews of the latest camera equipment which hopefully will in turn benefit the community that uses this site.

Finally we appreciate you visiting our site and hope that it has been valuable and useful to you. If there is any additional help we can provide please contact us here.
